RECRUITMENT

Letter from the VP Recruitment

My name is Sara Rich, and I am elated to serve as Alpha Gamma Delta’s VP of Recruitment for the Theta-Zeta chapter here at Randolph-Macon College.I am incredibly excited for this year’s primary recruitment season; our chapter members and I have been preparing since last spring to have a very successful recruitment weekend. Words cannot express the anticipation and joy that comes with getting to share our most cherished aspects of our chapter with potential new members every recruitment season. When I first signed up for recruitment, I had no idea what to expect. I was expecting to experience the stereotypical version of recruitment that is portrayed at bigger campuses. Nonetheless, my nerves were instantly subsided as I walked through the doors to meet my futures sisters in Alpha Gam as they all welcomed me as one of their own already. Understanding and learning about Alpha Gamma Delta’s philanthropy was where I fell in love with the organization as well as the heart of service that each of the sisters showcased upon my conversations with them. The friendships among all the sisters regardless of their interests or personal backgrounds was beautiful, and it was wonderful to see such a caring group of women come together not only for the greater good of the Ashland community but for each individual sister.I cannot wait to welcome the new member class of Alpha Gamma Delta this Fall. If you are second guessing about this recruitment season or think that it’s not something you’d be into, don’t worry I thought the same exact thing. It is so surreal to me that I now get to lead my best friends during this recruitment weekend, when it feels like yesterday I became a new member.Remember to enjoy the moment and be yourself, we cannot wait to me you all. We’ll see you behind those doors very soon!Love,Sara RichVP of Recruitment

Recruitment Information

Members and non-members are encouraged to recommend Potential New Members who embody our values for membership through the Recruitment Information Form. Upon completion, this form will notify chapters of PNMs participating in the Primary Recruitment and/or COB process.

Recruitment Information Forms are not a requirement—nor do they guarantee membership—but they are beneficial to our chapters when filled out as completely as possible.
